The Godiva Awards recognise outstanding businesses, including best restaurant in the Coventry and Warwickshire area.
The Godiva Awards are a celebration of tourism and leisure covering major cities and towns including Stratford-upon-Avon, Coventry, Leamington Spa, Nuneaton, Warwick, Bedworth, Kenilworth and Rugby.
More than a million residents are eligible for voting. And nearly 30,000 votes were cast for last year?s Godiva Awards, said Liz Millett, Chief Executive of the organising group CV One.
More than 10,000 businesses qualified to enter, and the awards' website generates 22,000 hits every week Millett said.
Winners of the Godiva Awards will also win free flights to a various European destinations courtesy of Coventry Airport-based sponsors Thomsonfly.

The competition is organised by city centre management company CV One and sponsored by Thomsonfly. The Godiva Awards will be presented during a ceremony at the Belgrade Theatre on September 15.
