Britain’s most highly-regarded restaurant guide, The Which? Good Food Guide, has voted the Box Tree, Ilkley as Yorkshire Restaurant of the Year 2007 in its new edition released today.
According to Which? the individual awards represent, “particular merit and achievement throughout the year. It recognizes that the Box Tree has made an impact in some special way.”

Husband and wife team, Simon and Rena Gueller, took over at the Box Tree just two years ago. Since then they have been awarded a Michelin star (within four months of opening), two Egon Ronay stars, three AA rosettes, the AA Notable Wine award 2007, and now Which? Yorkshire Restaurant of the Year.
